BlackBerry Pearl 8100 Color Pearl, Change the Pearl Color

Here is the program I downloaded to my new BlackBerry Pearl 8100.? It is called Color Pearl.? Here is the link for the install and the directions to change the color of the Pearl.? You can also type in a color code to customize a color.
Download it HERE.
If you do the OTA (Over the Air install) just send the link to your phones email address and click the link and install right off the phone.
? Here are the screenshots of what you have to do on the screen to enable it.? The photos shown were done using, BBscreen v1.1, a post and link will follow explaining the steps necessary to add your own BlackBerry Screenshots to your posts.

i dont have a blackberry email and im trying to do the desktop install… but i cant open it because windows doesnt know what program created it…. im not at all good with technology so maybe you can help me out

Is there a color purple and how can I get it and
I am trying to find out what different type of numbers to us in the custom part of the trackball colr pearl to use to change the colors.. Do you have a log for these somewhere easy to get to or know what a couple are??? Thanks

how do u get a black berry e-mail?
i installed it and it seems to try to show all the color(making it white) but with different color around the side of the ball
mine does that also.
it makes colors from other colors..
my green pearl is green from bottom looking and blue looking from top of the phone

i too have a blackberry pearl but no email and was wondering if i still can get the colorpearl to work on my phone…i try to download it but it dosnt seem to find it thanks rob
1-download the file.
2-Unzip file by right clicking
3-plug in blackberry and open desktop manager
4-open application loader
5-select unzipped Color pearl file
6-Phone will restart and all the lights will turn on creating a rainbow
7-Go to options, select colorpearl, then change the color to whatever you want.
worked wonderfully for me, though it doesn’t seem to accept my custom colours.. instead stays a mis of red, green, blue and purple

ok, some of you have the pearl, but you may have the 8110. if this is the case, than it will not work on your 8110. for others, download blackberry desktop manager, and add it to your phone with that.

when i install colorpearl on the 8100 using 4.5 os, the led stays on red and I cannot change the color of the track ball from a combination of red, blue, green and white. Have u heard of that problem b4?
how do I save the change? I am not being allowed to save any changes to the color settings.
Super! Now I have ColorPearl in Options on my BlackBerry Pearl 8100! The program works great! You just unpack colorpearl on the desktop, open the Desktop Manager, then click the Application Loader, Start, Browse, Find ColorPearl.alx on desktop and wait a few minutes and you done! Thanks a lot for this program and explaining!
