Super! Now I have ColorPearl in Options on my BlackBerry Pearl 8100! The program works great! You just unpack colorpearl on the desktop, open the Desktop Manager, then click the Application Loader, Start, Browse, Find ColorPearl.alx on desktop and wait a few minutes and you done! Thanks a lot for this program and explaining!

how do I save the change? I am not being allowed to save any changes to the color settings.

when i install colorpearl on the 8100 using 4.5 os, the led stays on red and I cannot change the color of the track ball from a combination of red, blue, green and white. Have u heard of that problem b4?

how do i get purple

whats the custom RRGGBB code for it

ok, some of you have the pearl, but you may have the 8110. if this is the case, than it will not work on your 8110. for others, download blackberry desktop manager, and add it to your phone with that.

worked wonderfully for me, though it doesn’t seem to accept my custom colours.. instead stays a mis of red, green, blue and purple

1-download the file.
2-Unzip file by right clicking
3-plug in blackberry and open desktop manager
4-open application loader
5-select unzipped Color pearl file
6-Phone will restart and all the lights will turn on creating a rainbow
7-Go to options, select colorpearl, then change the color to whatever you want.
