I received my “Like new certified replacement” motorola droid from Verizon Wireless, needless to say the screen goes black on phone calls, and doesn’t come back. After searching I found out that this is a VERY COMMON issue, and most things I find says there factory replacement does the same exact thing. I have factory reset the phone and called support. Now I’m getting another

like new certified replacement. Nothing like a 48 hour wait for the first replacement. The original droid I had died and never turned back on, so no phone during that time. Right now being Friday night, the new phone isnt batched out until Monday, and probably wont see it until Tuesday or Wednesday. Until then its make phone calls, open the slider to press buttons or hang up. Whenever I’m prompted for voicemail password, slide the keyboard open and touch the screen, then close the screen.

heres a link to the blackscreen when phone calls being made, if you experience the same thing, have them replace it. I used this phone since day 1. My original Droid that I sold, “bad economy” was perfect. It was sold a few days before the 2.1 OTA upgrade came out.
