So, I was in Aroostook county in Maine, about 3 hours north of where I live. And I stopped at a Mobil on the Run, owned by R.H. Foster out of Hampden, ME. I used my paypal debit card to make the purchase. Not thinking, I think i swiped my card and paid for the $20 worth of gas i pumped in, got my receipt and decided to go inside and buy something. I had an extra $20 on my paypal card so, I thought quick way to get it back. I return home and check my balance, and see 2 transactions. My $20 in gas, and a $76 hold for authorization. Now 3 days later its defaulted my paypal account for $44 dollars, and still no credit back. So not only can I not sell on e-Bay, because my account is in the red, I also cannot get into my paypal account to send or receive any money.

Not only did I learn something new but also a life lesson, thats the last time I shop at an On the Run store, especially in Maine. Because according to the gas attendant it sounded beyond belief that the pump charges a hold of that high. And the R.H. Foster representative, blew me off saying all our pumps across the state do that.

Well, I better see that credit soon, because its now a point where it will cost me money to get my account back into the green.
